Producer profile

After the Second World War, Domaine Maby was officially created by Armand Maby, who equipped it with a new, modern and functional cellar, and acquired new plots of vines. In 1946, the first bottles bearing the “Domaine Maby” label were produced. In the 1960s, Armand was joined by his son Roger and his sons-in-law. The estate expanded once again, not only in the Tavel appellation, but also in the magnificent terroir of Lirac. The estate’s cuvées are now widely distributed in France, Europe and the United States. In 2005, Richard Maby, Roger’s son, joined the estate. After fifteen years’ experience in finance, and driven by his love of wine and the distinctive terroir of Lirac and Tavel, he injects new energy into the domaine and gives his wines a more modern style.
