Domaine André Berthet-Rayne Cairanne Tradition 2024

Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Marsanne

Clay, limestone and sand

Biodynamic grower.

The nose is very expressive and quickly develops aromas of white fruits reminiscent of ripe peaches and white flowers such as honeysuckle and acacia. This aromatic freshness combined with the indulgent side of white flowers is most impressive.

The palate is full-bodied and fresh, tender and velvety. The aromas perceived on the nose are persistent and found on the palate and attest to a beautiful harmony.

Producer profile

Biodynamic grower. The history of the estate began with André’s great-grandparents, Charles and his wife, who cultivated 6 hectares of vines at the end of the 19th century. In addition to the vines, they also cultivated a few plots of olive trees and agricultural land, typical of farms at the time. This diversity laid the foundations for a wine-growing business that the family, over the generations, has continued to develop and enrich with expertise passed down from father to son and now to daughter. The estate now cultivates 31 hectares of vineyards. An agroforestry project will be implemented, aiming to enrich biodiversity and strengthen the sustainability of their viticultural practices.
