60% Grenache, 20% Clairette, 20% Roussanne
On sandy-clay soils, in the localities of La Janasse and La Crau.
On lees, in vats for the Grenache and Clairette grapes and in barrels (three-quarters of which are new wood) with bâtonnage for the Roussanne grapes, for seven months.
The nose is a basket of yellow and white fruits, dominated by peach and exotic fruits. Notes of vanilla and brioche add an extra touch of richness. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with a long finish.

Producer profile
Founded in 1973 by Aimé Sabon, Domaine de la Janasse grew from 15 to over 90 hectares thanks to his vision and expansion of prime terroirs. In 1991, his son Christophe brought new energy, diversifying cuvées and markets, and was later joined by his sister Isabelle in 2001. Together with their mother Hélène, the family has made La Janasse one of the leading estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
