Bertrand Stehelin Gigondas Red 2022/18/17

70% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, 5% Syrah

Clay, limestone and sand on northwest-facing slopes at an altitude of 300 metres brings freshness to the wine.

A wine with character, combining power and fruitiness. Expressive nose with elegant notes of black fruit and spices, full-bodied and well-structured on the palate, with impressive length. Bertrand Stehelin expresses his talent and passion as a winemaker on a few plots inherited from the family estate. He seeks to break away from the overly caricatured stereotype of Gigondas wines by allowing the terroir to reveal its true character: generous but not heavy, with powerful but not overbearing tannins.
