Certified Organic grower. Located on the heights of Rasteau at an altitude of around 300 meters. The vineyards are located on a plateau surrounded by woods, covering a single 4-hectare plot. The soil is a mixture of large rounded pebbles and brown earth rich in red clay. This plot has all the natural conditions necessary for the grapes to reach full maturity while retaining a high mineral content.

The color is a bright, vivid ruby red. The nose is dominated by aromas of black cherries and empyreumatic notes. The palate is full-bodied, round and delicious, with crisp, fresh fruit. The name of this cuvée is also the first name of their daughter, “Taïs.” It pairs well with appetisers or desserts, especially those made with chocolate, as well as blue cheeses.

Producer profile

Located at the foot of the prestigious Dentelles de Montmirail in Sablet, the vines flourish on a 27-hectare estate cultivated using organic farming methods. Domaine La Perdrière was taken over in 2010 by Vasco Perdigao, supported by his wife Sonia, a former nurse who retrained as a winemaker. Vasco practiced his craft and honed his skills with passion for several years in the renowned vineyards of the northern Côtes-du-Rhône. However, it was in the southern Rhône Valley that he decided to settle as a winemaker.
