Les Chemins de Sève Cairanne Cuvée Metamorphose 2020
70% Grenache, 30% Syrah
Alluvial terrace between Cairanne and Sainte-Cécile. The calcareous-sandy soil often contains areas with up to 50% rounded pebbles, mainly for the Syrah grapes. The vines are between 50 and 60 years old.
Aged in concrete and stainless steel. Its purple colour, cherry and spice nose, and powerful, spicy palate of ripe wild berries with silky tannins will seduce you when served at 16/18°C.

Producer profile
This small domaine was created in 2010 by Loic and Caroline Massart when they purchased 9 ha of vineyards in the cru of Cairanne. The vines have been grown organically from the outset and some of the vines are over 80 years old. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand into 20 kg crates. Loic and Caroline attach great importance to respecting the environment, the soil and the vines. This same philosophy is applied in the cellar, producing very low intervention wines where patience and gentle, persevering mechanical work are paramount.
